Nikolov Marianne
 Nikolov Marianne is a professor and head at the Department of English Applied Linguistics. She is also the coordinator of the postgraduate degree programme of the three English Departments. She teaches undergraduate courses on Applied Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, Language Development, Writing and Research Skills, and Thesis Writing. Her doctoral courses focus on individual differences in language learning and research methodology. Her recent publications include enquiries into the acquisition of English as a foreign language, large-scale assessment projects on English and German, early modern language programmes, classroom research,teacher education, and language policy.
